The power of a small rocket
No, I mean the kind of rocket Kennedy Space Center, but the grass Little Green is so useful and tasty, whatever the season.
I became addicted to arugula, living in the north Queensland coast near Cairns, Australia, America, and my neighbor came to my door with a large Tupperware box style. I say seems because she was tall and wore a hat 4'11inches shaded garden sun. If you're in the window of my kitchen, would burst the hat quietly passed the window, like a moving object itself, and I knew that Donna had arrived.
"I get out for a few days, and I made this salad of arugula, which I will not lose. Do you like? Gives me the above Tupperware-box style. I do not know for several weeks and our relationship had not spread to more exchange of courtesies in return to go shopping also for a few seconds thinking a bit strange, but being a kind of man in front right, (I just say that?), I thank you, promising to return the painting in a few days later he enjoyed the content.
"Keep in the refrigerator, and this is his last days, he advised his North American accent and disappeared, leaving me standing in my kitchen with a Tupperware box in hand, watching his hat in the left window at this very moment, when he returned home.
I removed the cover carefully and was immediately impressed by the rich spicy flavor, I have come to love. I have come to a fork and started poking around and found the salad was dense, with rocket leaves, onion rings and tomato slices in layers. There were "leaking" a little oil and vinegar in each layer. I began to taste … and have been a fan of rockets since.
Apart from the wonderful spicy flavor and substance to the grass that has been recently shown that anti-ulcer is a digestive stimulant very good and rich in sulfur, iron and vitamins, which are good for hair, skin and nails.
It became a favorite salad popular in Europe, Middle Middle and South American cooking and is delicious in salads when dressed with a little oil, vinegar and lemon juice. Can be used on open sandwiches, mixed with other assorted leaves, cooked gently and serve with toast oven and other delicatessen – and adds wonderful flavor to the skin when wrapped in a grilled chicken in the oven. resembles to spinach in boiling gently. Use it as I like a healthy environment contributes only the top of a bit of crisp iceberg lettuce with a spoonful bad mayonnaise on the top!
Another of my favorite applications is cut leaves little in the way the parsley, and fold in cooked pasta and hot before adding an ingredient, such as cooked chicken, bacon, tuna, or fungi. It gives them a nice spicy flavor pasta who have no other herbs. Be sure to cook the pasta in plenty water with a swirl of sound from your favorite olive oil in the water first, if the dough does not stick when the flight of the rocket and comply in good.
For a vegetarian meal pasta try adding a few pieces of pasta rockets with chopped dried tomatoes that have been marinated in olive oil, ( 'Tuscan Tomato' if you're here, in Spain) and fold all ingredients gently. Absolutely delicious.
So there you have … the power of a small rocket. Try my suggestions and make your own opinion and ideas … Soon you'll be hooked!
