Abstract book of recipes from Gordon Ramsay for friends

Cooking for friends is for me one of the s \ Gordon Ramsay's best cookbooks. A wide variety of recipes for every taste and cooking ability, it is really a big investment. The book is also very well done with amazing photos that mouth water.

From the hatch: –

\ "Far from the high-octane energy of the professional kitchen, where Gordon s \ 'is a family affair and relaxed, where the kitchen fun and everyone involved in preparing food for family and friends. Food cooks here embodies his point of view Gordon cut: the use of fresh seasonal produce at best to support local producers and markets producers \ 'when we can, and celebrate our food culture and its many influences …..

Kitchen … \ "For friends \ "Is full of Gordon \ 's most loved versions of classic British dishes ….. and contains more than 100 of their favorite recipes, who loves cook and eat with friends and family – simple recipes but with Gordon \ 'S extraordinary sense of taste and know-how. \ "

From the introduction: –

\ "As a leader, I work a mile a minute, but when I \ 'm at home, I want to go more slowly. I left my jacket \ S head at work, and came in a home environment where everything is completely different. At home, our kitchen is family and \ SA "rather relaxed. Many people see cooking as a chore, but we bring an element of fun in it ………. \ "

269 pages of high quality matte divided into nine chapters: –

Fundamentals

sandwiched between a 9-page introduction and a complete index, and the illustrations were finished flat in italics.

Each chapter begins with few relevant papers and a list of recipes contained in, for quick reference.

Each recipe is clearly defined with a bold title and text involved and that wiith the method, the number of servings and ingredients. Figures page found on the edge of the right page, which helps rapid blinking!

The book is interspersed with illustrations of finished dishes, Although they are somewhat less than expected, in my opinion …..( so my four star )…… and photos on the location of genetic resources, family and friends.

My favorite is no particular secret pud, and the passion I share Gordon \ 's the flavor and texture Apple Tart Tatin with caramelized apples one ….. his recipe for caramelized apple tart \ 'page 207 \ 'really hits the spot: –

\ "I love the taste of caramelized apples in a tarte tatin, and it is a way to bring this flavor in a classic apple pie.

In addition, since the blocks are pre-cooked, they won t shrink \ 'at baking and create air pockets in the cake.

I serve the cake, so that \ 's hot or with a little cream or pay a dollop of vanilla ice cream. \ "

A flavor that makes the finished product taste divine, and as then G \ 's Lamb \ 'Cassoulet Mango "served with chopped cabbage and bread maltiness …. simply SUPER to share, after October 1 walk in the woods with all our friends!

What … course …. That's what this book it is!
