Calling all vegetarians! Vegetarian Christmas Lunch – What do you think of this menu?
Everything is homemade, (except the tofu!) Appetizer: Butternut squash soup with spicy, roller main options: Portabello mushrooms stuffed with chestnuts with Herby garlic and smoked tofu, served with red cabbage with raisins sherry vinegar (this was requested by four vegearians and therefore is not negotiable!) and ground roasted rosemary potatoes Pud Hasselbeck: 3 mini desserts on a plate, two bites big. I mini strawberry cheesecake, covered with tiny wild strawberries, spice cake mini Lemon (lemon cake) and a little milk chocolate cup filled with mousse black and white chocolate, decorated with black chocolate. Form Cafes and petit-fours, port, brandy and liqueurs I'm making a red wine sauce, I think, and never use vegetable broth for soups, I'm not a vegetarian, I am a true carnivore I like my meat! But is organic, produced in our own farm, animals = happy! Could change parsnip soup with curry
I would like to Christmas dinner as well: D always mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, a kind of yam and tomato pickled thing. its good and all, but not great.
